Hi everyone just wondering if you could help me please?
My ram as developed about 3 weeks ago what appears to be a fugus infection. This started as a small cotton like patch near his eye which has now began growing behide his eye which is popping our alarmly far now.
I am unsure how to proceed with treatment as i have used Melaphix (full week) no improvement. I have used Esha 2000 for fungus and bacteria treatment (no improvement) used 2 courses. The pet shop have now suggested salt after showing pics to them but reading on the net salt wont heal fungual infections?
Can you suggest what to do, I have attached a photo which shows the poor fishes eye.
Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nirate 40ppm
Other fish in tank, gourmais, tetras, guppies, harlquines other ram
