Hi, my name is Andrew. I have just recently got into bettas but went hard into the hobby. I have a lot of higher end bettas, but this one fish really caught my eye one day.... I went to this shop and i was looking for a black copper and i heard the man had giants in. so i went in and purchased the two i was looking for, and many others. i was about to check out when out of the corner of my eye i seen a tint of silver. I bent over and way at the bottom of a new shipment i saw it. i imediately purchased this animal. it seems like it should be a red copper rather than anything, just extremely pale with all the colors that should have been defined just seamed super washed out, but it seemed like just an extremely great betta. so i got her home and set her up and watched her swim a while, then with one quick turn of her body i saw it, the bright flamming red eyes!!!!! I was so excited. I was wondering what you guys think this animal may be worth as i have only seen one other albino copper ever and it definately wasnt for sale and mine looks better!

This one shown here is the only other albino copper i have seen. Her name is sunny. mine looks identical to this but with much better finnage and body structure.

Are you sure that is an albino Betta? I thought that Albinos lack pigmentation, the one pictured has quite a bit of yellow in her.

This photo shows a beautiful Gold Dragon! I have one but with much longer fins. Beautiful,- but definitely not an albino copper (which I have never even heard of! ) :)

mine is not a gold dragon. i have a couple. albinos do not have to be all white' they can have complete or partial absence in the pigmenttation. but the one i have is albino. it has the red eyes. that one pictured is not mine, it is someone elses. but my red dragon is albino. it has an extreme washed out red orange finnage, the chrome/silver color seems washed out as well, and the eyes are red.

this does not look albino, an i=albino beta usually has, red eyes, and like a see through type body, not see through, but its very pale/white. google it, you'll get a good idea of what it looks like

I'm not saying that yours is a gold dragon,- but the betta in the photo most certainly IS! :D

I'm sure you'd have come across this site but quoting from it: " A characteristic of any true Albino fish is that the body lacks all pigmentation, including the eyes which appear red. Like Cellophane, these are completely colourless fish and may appear pinkish white or solid white if the opaque factor is present. True albino Bettas have red eyes, with no pigmentation."

If you're certain then perhaps bring it to a betta show for confirmation and if it's true then you'll have a bunch of people dying to buy from you.

P.S: Where did you get your albino red dragon from?

A true albino is no pigment with pink eyes what u have is a semi albino

Its the same with tiger barbs semi albinos have black eyes and full albinos have pink
