I recently got a tank and a couple of fish came with it. One is a plec and this is the other. Can someone tell me what it is?

It looks a little beaten up but looks like one of the stone loaches or lizard fish. Pretty sure it's not a Chinese Algea Eater which you would want to avoid.

i thought it may be a stone loach. could be a panda garra but i thought its head was a bit narrow to be a panda. i could be wrong though!!

The front fins made me think of stone loach or a fish from that family, can say I have seen Panda garra in Australia.

Their colours seem to vary slightly with amounts of yellow and the fins will look smaller as they are tucked up!
