Yeah they look like SAE's... they can get aggressive though as they mature. They will also probably fall out with the Sharks as they have a similar body shape...

the siamese elgae eaters are very agressive horrible pesky fish. They grow to quite a big size too, thats if they dont jump out of the tank first!

yeah after i found out what they where last night i looked up abit about them and after reading up about them i dont really want them in my tank for long lol

Kelvie ... what camera are you using on what settings to get such wonderful photos?

hi spouse the camera is my canon IXUS 901S and i used digital macro setting or the aquarium settings depending on the type of pic i am taking lol

the camera is a few years old now but when i bought it i didnt pay much for it, I think that it was no more than £80....:good:

here is few of my other fish and newer pics of my tank set up which i am still open to ideas for my octagonal ,

Meaning ideas for good substrate if i wanted to go down the planted road,

BASICALLY I want everyone who views this thread to leave ideas for me for this work in serious project lol

I've never seen my SAE's behave agressively, they are quite chilled out little fish, very fast though, if you spook them, can do one end of my 5 foot to the other in half a second or less. Certainly agree on rehoming the sharks though, lovely fish but not in that setup and tbh, the SAE's need a bigger home too.
