Molly With Swollen Eye?

I noticed that one of my mollies has a VERY swollen eye. IDK what it could be, I've never had this problem before, someone please tell me what it is and what I can do to hell my poor molly! Is this something that is contagious? :unsure:

Sorry the pictures are not so good, my mollies move all the time...lol
 
I'm sorry I can't help too much, but it looks like a fungus or something. It makes me sad to see your mollies like that... :sad:
 
It seems to me that mollies seem very prone to popeye - when I first started out in fishkeeping my mollies got it on a couple of occasions, but my platies didn't. Reading around the internet on it suggested to me that it's not contagious.

30% daily water changes cleared it up for me within a couple of days. :good:
 
I have three mollies and one of them gets popeye on a regular basis. He never seems affected by it and it has always cleared up on it's own.
