Just wanted to see what people would rather have in their tank and why... :good:

Sand... better for fish like Cories and sand sifters, and it's also better for planting in. Easier to clean too :D

Sand as there are no fish that "need" gravel where as rough gravel can limit your stocking options at some point...

I have Gravel in my new 60gal and in both my gals

...those plants dont look like they are specifically for aquariums..... They could be leaking dye and chemicals into the tank that will eventually damage your fish and filter bacteria. I would consider taking them out and swapping to real plants or aquarium safe plants and decor...

Here is my Spongebob themed tank

Here is my other 10 gal, kind of a jungle theme going on, it was my betta's tank but he passed away yesterday, excuse the cloudy water, I am keeping my filters wet while I'm treating another tank with medicine, and no one died, it was just something that I thought would be unique to the tank, the fish love it

are you just ignoring the comment Wills made?

those plants could be leaching harmful chemicals and dyes into your aquarium, whether or not your fish 'love it' is no matter.

also that jug is most likely not aquarium safe either.

actually the jug and the plants are all from my LFS so I know they are "aquarium safe". Instead of ragging on my tank you could have asked in a nicer way other than "has someone died". I would NEVER put something in my tank that would harm my fish. Next time ask before you assume.....

If they are fake plants then they might be safe. If they are real, I bet my house on them lasting no longer than a few weeks at the most before they start rotting.

That is, by far, the most feminine looking tank arrangement I've ever seen....................

Just saying....................not that it's a bad thing. That';s why they make so many different decorations, for different tastes.

I voted for gravel but I have a black sand & black gravel mix going on in my 36 gallon bow front.

Sand is a pain in the a$$ to rinse and I learned that the hard way.

They are fake, no point in putting real plants in there, unless they are the ones you grow
