This is a picture of my Molly about a month ago when I first bought her from the pet store, The second picture is of her now. Initially we were told she was probably a male balloon molly. However, we learned that she is female and thought she was pregnant. We thought she miscarried some fry about 3 weeks ago and was pregnant again. However, now her spine seems to be more curved than when we bought her. Is it possible that she has scoliosis from TB? I know all balloon molly's have unnatural spine curves but this look beyond what my other pregnant molly looks like. Help please!!

curved spine can be from vitamin deficiency, fish TB or internal parasites. Have you seen the fish poo? what did it look like(normal poo or any white/stringy/mucousy poo)? Any flicking or rubbing? spitting out food? getting skinny? what sort of food do you feed and how often?
just some questions to help with a potential diagnosis.
cheers

There was some white stringy poo a day ago but not now. She had not been eating at all but is now spitting out food sometimes and sometimes eating it. No flicking or rubbing and not getting skinny yet anyway. I feed her Tetra flakes for tropical fish 2-3 times a day, freeze dried brine shrimp once daily, and frozen brine shrimp once every few days. I tried feeding her frozen blood worms but she didn't seem too fond of them. I've been trying to feed her extra because of the pregnancy. She also has a red hemorrhage looking red spot where her body meets the tail but that is starting to fade.

Thanks!
