Is My Guppy Pregnant And Close To Giving Birth?

Her tummy is very large and her gravid spot is getting dark, while she is still very active and eats well.

She looks pregnant but she isn't close to giving birth

So exited! The breeding tank is ready.
Any idea how long till she gives birth?

i'd say about a week? wait untill she really squares off and then if a white dot appears under her anal fin put her in the trap.

hi, my guppy looks about the same as the one in the picture maybe slightly fatter and i noticed she has square off last night and looking like a box now but there isnt any white spot that i can see yet. how long do you think it will be until she will get this. because i want to catch the fry before the other fish eat them. i do have pletty of plants in the tank for them to hid so that they have a chance before i find them. oh yea she is still swimming around a lot and eating a lot but she is also telling the males to go away and she is swimming around mostly by herself but she isnt hiding at the moment. any ideas? thanks
