Infected - Sad Moment What Do I Do Now?

i was ment to say all levels but ammonia sorry for the misleading reply.

i took the water sample back to the store because its what the store's policy is.
there policy is to check a water sample from your tank when your fish die if you bought it from there store if it turns out to be the customers fault for the incorrect water chemistry they will not offer a replacement or refund.

no the molly is not flicking to be honest i only noticed the white spots today so if i did see it i wouldnt have thought anything of it at the time

so what temp should i put the water up too? all thats in the tank at the moment is 2 dalmation mollies nothing else will be going in there till the possible white spot is resolved

Ok, what are your exact levels by your own test kit? If you can post them up that would be of great help.

Also, do you have a camera that you can take a picture with?

Keep an eye on the fish for any flicking or rubbing, then report back later on today.

It wasn't very clear from what you said earlier, do you have any white spot meds or not?

i last tested a few days ago so i cant remember i used the last of my test kit as my mate lent it not to worrie i have ordered another API Master Kit and should be here tomorrow or thursday

yes i have a camera a will get a picture if i can

and yes i have spot meds i got off my grandad when he had it on his fish he had a spare bottle

this website - TheTropicalTank.co.uk - Says not to raise the temp no higher than 28 Degrees should i put my tank too 27/28 and leave it at that?

Yes, a couple of degrees should be fine. As soon as you get the test kit test your water and post the results up. Watch the fish very closely for and itchy signs. If you can't tell whether it's white spots or just their natural markings you're going to have to be really vigilant. If you see any signs of discomfort or really obvious white spots start treating straight away.

well he hasnt really been very active since a noticed it which first drew my attention to him since i just changed the water now hes become a little more active and is kind of swimming up against the glass but on such a angle that on the bottom touches it
