I bought this female Betta a few weeks ago from a new pet shop that opened up.
She was the only one left, and me being me, I felt sorry for her and bought it.
The label on the tank said "Female Bettas" and nothing else. So, I'm not sure what type of Betta she is (Deltatail, Veiltail etc).
I have 2 photos of her attached to this post, so if anyone could help me identify what type she is, that would be greatly appreciated :good:

She's a veiltail. You can tell by the branching of the rays in the tail. She's only got 2 branches per ray. Deltas, hm, ets would have 4 or more. Unless she is very young with lots of growing to do( unlikely from a petshop) I'm comfortable saying veiltail. She's purdy :)
cheers

just thought Id add my two bobs worth.....I thought she was a comb tail but I may need new glasses.

Not combtail. Betta all have the ends of the rays sticking out a bit past the membranes between. Combtail or crowntail would be much less membrane in between the rays.
