well, i finally broke down and got one of these guys. i know not everyone is a fan, but some of you out there are and will appreciate this post. silver's great pictures first drew me to one of these guys. then someone had turned a gorgeous bright one into the lfs. i almost took him home, but needed to do more research first. after buying the food i'd need and rearraning the tank to give him a big enough cave for his very own (though he's also claimed the smaller one for now), i bought a juvie. s/he is still pretty much yellow. s/he is funny, will spend most of its time in the big cave, which it will share only with the julii cory. occassional the gold gourami can pass through, depends on the parrot's mood. funny to see it and the cory just chillin' together though. 
oddly enough, it WON'T allow the emerald cories in there, just the lone julii. maybe its because they're both only fishes.
he's currently housed in the 20, but will be upgrading to a larger tank in the next year and he will move into it.
