Thought I'd get a thread up on my tank...

60L, nearly 2foot long. Stocking; 6 Black widow tetras, 2 sailfin plecs, 2 common plecs, 1 talking cat, 1 upside down cat, 1 hoplo cat, 1 asian sun cat, 1 parrot cichilid, 1 black ghost knife, 2 clown loaches, 1 frog, 1 silver shark.

I know it's rather crowded, and it's only gonna get worse as most grow quite large, but I am looking for a larger tank ASAP, just haven't had the best luck (2 cracked tanks, broken windscreen on my mums car).

Anyway, enough rambling, the pictures!! (Well, just the one as for some reason it will only let me upload one)

Your right, you do need a MUCH bigger tank ASAP! Thats far too small for what you have.

Just one question: If you knew these fish we're going to get far too big for the tank you have, why buy them?

Don't want to sound rude or anything :)

Ouch!

Just a question, If you KNOW the problem, why keep buying these fish?

Well the plan always was to get a larger tank, if all had gone well I would have the larger fish in a 4 foot tank, and a smaller community tank for tetras and the like.

See here http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/364137-leaking-tank/

After that debacle, I got another tank, but that also cracked.

And then I was given a 6 foot tank, unfortunately, the wrong kind of 6 foot

See here http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/366193-6foot-high-tank-suggestions/

And I'm now trying to swap the 6 foot for a more conventional (but large) tank.

Also, what kind of frog -

To be quite honest, your stocking, while being way too much in your tank, is also not very compatible.

Neither an african dwarf frog nor an african clawed frog should be in that tank. The ADF will get eaten once a few of your fish get big enough, and the ACF will take care of your smaller fish...until it gets killed by a larger fish, most likely the parrot cichlid. The common plecs could also take care of either frog species - eating the dwarf and killing the ACF by rasping on it.

If I were you, I would return 75% of my stocking...namely everything but the tetras and do your research.

A 4 foot tank won't be big enough. Please consider sorting this out in the Tropical Discussion section.
