So, I have had this Oscar for about 7 months now, and as you can see she has gotten quite large, I am planning on getting her a new tank, but I have found this fungus that has shown on her side. I had recently taken out 3 corys which showed similar fungus on their faces and one that had it on its whole body, in fear that they would pass it to the big one.
Well they did, and good thing I guess because it made me check my water and find that my pH is 6 so I am going to get pH up right after I post this. Now what I need is a definitive yes or no, is this treatable fish fungus and what would I use? I am going to get a small 1-2 gallon bowl and put her in it with an air hose during treatment.
Just need to know what to get. PLEASE RESPOND ASAP!!!
Ammonia: 0ppm
Nitrite: 0ppm
Nitrate: 5ppm
Ph: 6
