That looks good. :good:
Shame about the tree I reckon its great.
Is it me or does it appear to be very green in there?
The rocks in there look real nice too.
The way I see it all my tanks are work in progress even when they appear finished :)

the back wall has a little algea that needs a scrape but apart from that it shouldnt look green. i took the pics around half hour after the move so was probably still a little dirty from that. i really liked the tree but once the moss had taken hold it took up nearly all the tank i may try again if i can get a smaller piece of wood. im happy with the positioning of all but the largest rock just cant decide which way round to have it. after that gonna make a carpet of moss for the floor and get some sort of larger plant for the back

I think the original tank was awesome except for the cloudy water. Really nice setup. Did you do more than 50% water changes for the moss to go limp?

no it would be anytime that the i was playing around with the tank. hopefully the new tank will be just as nice as the old one once its done
im also looking for some sort of flowering plant that can be used in the middle to foreground that also doesnt need co2 and some sort of large plant for the back any ideas

another move today. think this is how its going to stay now again because of the move its a little cloudy. i will take another picture tomorrow as im getting a bit of a complex that people on here only see it cloudy lol

That looks better, the P Erectus is a bit central though it needs to be more behind main rock :good:

cant be too behind the rock as thats where the filter sucks up from but im hoping it will take over a large amount of that back part of the rock where it starts to slope on the right as it gets bigger

also thinking of getting a Cryptocoryne beckettii petchii for the left hand side where the middle podo is and maybe a Vallisneria americana mini twister for somewhere else. but i was wondering if anyone knew of any other smaller plants that might look nice

ok just an update on my tank. have got another plant planted (the last one). the mesh came for the moss floor, didnt cover all of it so will have to get another piece. here are a pic of it as its stands now. gave the koi sword tales to a friend as the lady was about to have babies and couldnt fit them in the tank so now only have lamp eyes leopard endlers green neon tetras and shrimp what do you think?

and here is a picture of the whole fishtank area

Any way you can cover the rest of the substrate other than the path in the middle? Extend it to the far left.

That would be stunning.

yeah im planning to cover the gravel to the left but i ran out of mesh thats my next purchase

the moss i used was xmas moss

im getting much happier with my tank now cant wait for it to start growing now
