Woah. I love it :) The night lighting is awesome, Where did you get that. Im looking for something similar. Just some moonlighting, So after dark i can still enjoy them :)

i purchased strips of led's from ebay for about £2 pers strip of 48 leds. one of the strips was about £10 but included a 12v convertop plug so all i did was screwed all of the wires into the one plug.

i have 3 strips of 48 white leds and 2 strips of blues. i used sealant to stick them to the underside of the hood between the normal bulbs.

cost me £25 in total but i am planning on adding a few more strips to make make it lighter.

Awesome ill take a look. Love the look of your tank. Looks amazingly clean. How do you keep it so fresh?

here is another pic of the night lights, looks different with different cameras but nothing as good as it does in real life

i dont actually do much to it really, i dont even hoover up the poop anymore as there isnt much now i have moved the blue phantom plec on to a new home.

i am sort of hooked on moving things very slightly all the time as i am never happy with how it looks lol

Lovely tank you've done it out beautifuly. I love the night look in particular. I've been looking at those lights on ebay for a while now and you've made up my mind. I'm getting some.

best to trawl through the listings and the prices vary a lot.

get one with an adaptor then all you need to do is buy more strips and screw the wires into the connector from the plug, its simple.

Lovely tank mate, really like what you have done with the led's

+1 for those strips with adapter, the thing I like about them the best is that u can dim or brighten the lights by merely sliding the voltage up or down. its great, cheap and easy!

my pics

this was just one strip of 15 LEDs on a 90L. went for blue.

took the 3 kribs out and back to the shop. had to take EVERYTHING out of the tank, wood, stones and plants, oh and 50% of the water!

this is my new rebuild with new wood, plants and water lol
