Hi. Tank has been up and running for almost a year now. I have a mixture of tetras, bronze and peppered cory. Sometimes after a water change the corys spawn and lay a few eggs but I haven't been intentionally trying to breed them so just left them. I presumed they would all get eaten or were maybe infertile. Lo and behold, I have at least a couple of baby peppered. They must have found places to hide and sufficient scraps of food to make it.
I am struggling to get any decent photos but snapped one with the iphone that shows one of the babies with an adult in the background to show the difference in size.
New problem seems to be beard algae but I guess that will be another topic.
So, just a note of encouragement to any aspiring breeders out there.....it can be done without too much effort.
