just recieved my 3 new fish from kg bettas.they are very washed out after 2 days in the post but after only 10 mins in there tanks the females fins are bright red. tanks 46a 73 and 80 will work out how to post pics and get them up
 
camera isnt taking good pics. now i know how to put them up i will work on quality

they look good considering they only arrived today after 2 days in the post. do they make a good pair and what percentage of fry will be CT

cant see clear females tail,but they both look like ct and both red so i would say 100% ct red bettas :hyper: lovely looking fish and female looks ready to spawn now with the white bars on her side wow,
 
yes she is crown tail too. she is very plump an the bars are very definate. does that definatly mean she has eggs inside her. she is only 4 months old. i dont have a male making a nest so will she re absorb them or could she become egg bound and die. should i try and breed her?
 
If you set up to breed them when the male CAN see the female he should start building a nest, but you may want to feed them live food for a week OR SO at it takes it out of them,and im sure they wont have been fed for a day or so for shipping,ask kgbettas they will help you im sure i always condition my fish first when i want to breed..hoping my pair from them will start this weekend...
 
i only feed them mosquito larva and bloodworm they have been on tanks next to each other and can see each other. but he has an air driven u g filter. which i guess will not help him build a nest. what type of filter should i use? are they old enough to breed. if she doesnt breed will it harm her if she is carrying eggs?
 
idont use any filters in breeding tanks im sure others on here will help with that as well, imsure they will be old enough to spawn :good:
