If you're a bird, I'm a bird
It's a freshwater snowflake. The research I've done shows that people have had success keeping them in full fresh and in brackish. I've added salt to my tank, hopefully finding a happy medium betwenn the two. So far he is doing well and eating. He is actually more social than I expected, he keeps part of his body under a rock or in a cave at all times, but his head is out poking around quite a bit.

So far he's eaten frozen foods, he seems to like brine shrimp. The store was feeding him feeders, but I'm leery. For one the tank is so big, if he missed a goldfish, I would end up with a giant feeder goldie. Also, my tank has been so healthy, I'd hate to add something in that might have diseases. My husband wants to watch him eat fish though, so we'll see.

they had one at the lfs i was also suprised at how active it was i just heard they sit in caves all day and only come out to eat
