Is This The Right Way To Plant An Anubias

I bought today an anubias hastifolia and after a bit of reading around thought this was the best way of planting it, was I right I've tied it to a small rock with black cotton, fishing line was to much trouble and seem to cut into the roots, so have I done it right.

Yeah, that looks right to me. But you may find using superglue to stick the plants to the rock less problematic and more aesthetically pleasing :hyper:
 
Perfect. I think that string is small enough so you won't really see it unless you're right up on the tank looking at it. If I'm not mistaken, the cotton thread should dissolve over time and by then it should definitely be attached.
 
I found the cotton thread disintegrated in the water quite quickly. I'd heard people recommend fishing line but it was REALLY expensive to buy to tie my plants down...however what I used was nylon thread (it's like fishing line but it's really thin and really cheap). Plus it came in clear and black :)
