This is Brody, he's my dressage horse, these pictures don't do him justice at all, but I promised people that I'd post them. Sorry they're so small, I couldn't get them under 100k any bigger. :(

This is dot com a mare I'm in negotiations for, but she's at the barn and I'm going to start showing her dressage this summer.

MmmMmmmm....I cannot wait til I get to have horses too..... :D

They look great Sorrell!

Bigger bigger bigger pictures please!!! :hyper:

Brody is a hunk! Love the looks of him  How old/what breed is he? The pony is a doll too and the possible new mare is quite flashy as well. Glad to see other folks horses/ponys. :D

Brody is beautiful! Love that color! You are very lucky to have him Sorrell.

And I hope you get that mare...wow, is she neat colored. :hyper:

Now you just need to get bigger pictures.

I'm never gonna be satisfied here, am I?

Brody is 9 and he's a quarter horse appendix. He is a true 16 hands, and is just huge and powerful. He is the most gorgeous mover. I had to put that picture of his butt, because he has such a powerful hip on him. He's so awesome.

Goodness! 9 is the perfect age. What level dressage do you ride with him? Looks like he got enough TB in the appendix to lighten him up and give him feet! Very nice horse there. Don't you just love it when they have a great behind and know how to work off of it?

He's a solid second level. I wish you could see him move, his trot is powerful and big, he has a big canter, but it's not super fast, and his walk is amazing, in dressage tests when we do long walks on the diaganol, he'll overstep a full hoof and a half. He is seriously amazing.

A hoof and a half and he's not exactly compact! That's awesome - and at the free walk no less... Love it. When I help with dressage scoring - I realize how many points are won and lost with the freewalk - if folks paid attention to this important move they could up their scores quite a bit. Most just throw the reins at em and amble to the opposite corner...

Dressage is my first love - after that must be low level eventing... Not much for stadium (hate to watch the unprepared set themselves up) but love the cross country

To be honest, I knew I wanted this horse just by his walk. I sat on him for about 5 mins and I knew :D

I would be such a fan of cross country if I had more confidence...my first eventing horse was off the track and she was amazing, but when we were out on course if she got within eyeshot of another horse she'd bolt because she had to "beat it and win the race". So, that tramatized me a little, I love dressage though, and I have had many great XC horses, but when I see another horse in front of us, my stomach does a leap, and you know how that runs through a horse...

I don't know how I missed this post - usually I can hear the word "horse" from 20 miles away. :p Anyways, Brody is spectacular, he sounds just as wonderful as he looks, too. I'd love to see some pictures of him doing what he does best!! :) Also, the new mare - *drool*. She's got some gorgeous markings, just the right amount of white for my tastes, actually! Glad to see there are two other horse lovers on the board, I don't think that's enough though.. :hey:

*does a quiet little cheer for her Arabian who does dressage and XC* ;)

Hey this is my 19 year old, 15hh, gelding, strawberry roan, cob x tb called cheyenne. He's so cool he does absolutely everything. He's such a character, i've been mugged many a time for my cup of tea by him!!!
Sorry for the appaling pics, I was taking pictures of pictures ( if that makes sense, lol)
