Well as some of you know I lost my Male Bolivian Ram. Last night I got home to find that 2 spot (Male Ellioti) has dug a pit. He is the only Ellioti in the tank? The Female Ram is now spending her time swimming around but seems to hover over 2 spot and his pit???? As I said in my previous post, she showed no sign of interest in the bol male, he tried a couple of times to woo her but she wasn't having any of it. 2 spot isn't persuing her like he did the other ellioti but is showing a very gentle interest in her and she isn't rebuffing him. Anyone else had experiance with this. Can anything come of this. Really dont know what to make of it. I did bring my camera in but forgot the download cable (What a twit).

She is a Bolivan Ram, he is a Thorichthy's Ellioti (excuse spelling) Could they cause a hybrid. I did also notice her tube was more pronounced. I've already got kribs spawning. And a Pair of Ellioti with fry (In another tank) Is it spring in my house already

Nothing will come of it, Im 99.9% sure they cant cross-bred.

Thanks Minxfishy, Glad to say all back to normal. Two spot is still near his pit
