have to say it does look that way from the photo, could be decieving tho. what size is it?

Would guess that's a vision 260 - although it could be a 180 :S

Great looking fish but you're gonna need to upgrade very soon :good:

Yes it's a vision 260,
I'm well aware of the space issues and will move them when any trouble starts but for now i'm gonna enjoy them.
Only had Oscars since Saturday and they already know when its food time.

Will update with better pics soon.

what size tank are you planning omn putting them in? it wont take them long to need an upgrade

Love your Oscars, cool.

like mark asked - - what size are you planning to upgrade to and when? you are going to need a much much bigger tank with in just a few months time -

in the future - it is always in the fish's best interest to stock for the tank you have and not the tank you want or "plan" to have

we have all experienced things in our lives that were never planned...and it is all too easy to put off getting a bigger tank because something large financially strikes our lives. the solution is to always stock for the present and not the future tank.

You know the reason I've been a member of this forum for over 3 years and only posted 50 times is because i keep forgetting that all i'm going to get is YOUR TANK ISN'T BIG ENOUGH!!!!
Sorry people but I Know things will have to change a few months down the line but a SINGLE 2" Oscar would not have any appeal in that tank.........

Well what do you expect?
We are all fish lovers, and we hate seeing them kept in the wrong conditions.

If "a single Oscar has no appeal" in your tank, go for a smaller fish or get a bigger tank. Simple.
I have a thread on here with pics of my monster sized Oscar. It will show you the potential of these fish.

if you dont want to be told your tank isnt big enough then house them in 1 that is . admitedly the tank they are in is fine short term as a grow out tank . and you say you will move them when thee time comes. so the question i ask myself is what size tank have you got in mind for those 4 fish , have you actually got , or even ordered it?

as jenste said , with all the best intention in the world , you cant tell whats round the corner and when the time comes you may not be able to upgrade , and big oscars are not esasy to get rid of .
