My redone 29 gallon

Well i redid the 29 gallon, i had let it stay the same for 8 years and finally added the final touches, there may still be a tweak here and there but pretty much done.

That stump cave is perfect - I bet I have a fish or two that would love to have that!

yes i did (or the Mrs bought it really) It was a pleasant suprise. It came with some cheesy fake plants and i removed them . They have another piece I will get soon. My kribs like the PVC rock cave better than the stump, the plec likes the stump.

Looks great, Rolln. I could see where the stump would be too open for the kribs --they like a cave that is easy to defend. Do they seem any closer to setting up housekeeping these days?

How do you find that the anacharis does in your tank? What wattage of lighting do you have and how long do you leave it on?

the wattage not sure it is a new hood and the factory bulb that came with it. I have to leave the lights on for about 16 hours to get enough light i am either going to do a DIY and redo the lighting hood or buy a plant gro bulb.
Well I thought they were close and the Botia got into it with them and I think they got a divorce (LOL) seriously the botia is moved and hopefully the barry white music works on them :hey:

anachris does good in all my tanks except for this one because the lighting sux....i gotta get a better bulb or something soon.

Well, I hope so too. Maybe 16 hours a day of light is putting a damper on the romance. :fun:

In all seriousness, I've found that my kribs are not partial to having the light on at all, and they behave more nervously when it is on than when it is off. Hopefully, when you improve your wattage, you can give them more "private" time.
