From what I`ve read bogwood has only a minor effect which diminishes over time, and it`s better to have a stable pH which may be a little outside the ideal rather than trying to alter it artificially
If you make the effort to buy tank reared rather than wild caught fish you shouldn`t have a problem

I reckon they will be Abi. Your tank took long to cycle it's probably the best newly cycled tank in the world!
