Video of the problem I would really appreciate if anyone could help me out with this. I treated for ich for 7 days and there were no changes. He is the only fish affected.
Tank size: 20gal U.S.
pH: 7.2
ammonia: 0
nitrite: 0
nitrate: 10ppm
kH:
gH:
tank temp: 79f
Fish Symptoms: Male gourami, has a white/yellowish lesion behind his left pectoral fin, occasionally will rub against a plant, darts a few times an hour across the tank and sometimes hits the top of the water hard enough to splash it. He is otherwise healthy, he has a normal appetite and continues to hang around with the female.
Volume and Frequency of water changes: 50% approximately once a week. I usually do them as I deem necessary according to the amount of waste.
Chemical Additives or Media in your tank: HOB filter, I add salts when I do water changes, I use Flourish ferts, and I use a stress coat to treat the new water.
Tank inhabitants: 2 pearl gouramis, 3 platys, 1 common pleco, 2 guppies, 2 african dwarf frogs, 4 ghost shrimp.
Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration):
Exposure to chemicals:
Digital photo (include if possible):
I attached a photo that does not really show the lesion, but I have included a link to a short video that kind of shows it. http/www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FQspU015fE
