Wow there stunning fish, what are the fist fish called are they some sort of dwarf cichlid? do you ahve any problems between the rams and kribs?
 
Sorry Evobe for the delay in comming back to you. The elliotti are stunning and do not get as big as some of the other chiclids, around 10cm I believe. The rams and kribs get on well, but since this picture was taken the Kribs have gone into the 71 litre and have taken up residence in the coconut shell. The two Elliotti have been moved back into the 4ft. Note to change my tanks stocking yet again. :look:

Oh wow - what kind of Rams are those in the first 3 shots? German Blue? Bolivian? I always have trouble because it's hard to put the size in perspective. They look nice!
 
Thanks, they are bolivian Rams, I was lucky and picked them out of a tank from Maidenhead aquatics (Stratford upon Avon) Even the guy was impressed that I managed to pick a male and female. He has been showing alot more interest in her recently, but I still don't think she's quite ready yet. There was a fair bit of lip locking yest between the two. I'll give her full points for holding her own though, even the Elliotti are wary off her. She must take after me :rolleyes:
 
I thought those looked like Bolivians! I think I'll be adding 2 to my tank in about 4 weeks. My only regret is that it will be luck of the draw on getting male versus female. That's cool that you got a mixed group.

Just re-read your thread, The first two pics are the Eliotti I got from Star 4, opps, sorry If I mis-lead you. Both pairs of Eliotti have dug pits either end of the tank so leaving one female playing gooseberry, so I may have to re-home her as the elliotti are very territorial when spawning. :(

The Rams is Male Pic 2, on the rock with the yellow chin and the female in pic 3 is the one with the dont mess with me look in the corner.
