The Fluval edge tank looks great but can be very annoying when it comes to finding accesories and equipment to cater for its 'unique' shape and size. i am a beginner and i want to breed Guppies but i need either a hang on/in tank refugium or a floating breeding trap (for the baby and pregnant guppies or for sick guppies. does anybody know where i can get a fish breeder or refugium that will fit in my Fluvaql Edge tank. could you provide teh place and price please.

Make it a planted tank and just hope for the best. With its given design i don't think any breeder trap will work in it.

If your only going to keep guppies then don't worry.

The likes of traps stress the fish and the do suffer. I rear all my guppy along side the adults, this is fine if not over crowed and their well feed. Yes you may lose a few to the adults but these tend to be the runts anyway.

Using lots of plants as already stated will be fine as the fry will hide in them and do just fine.

Welcome to the forum Emziie.
This tank, with its java moss cover, is always packed with guppy fry.

yes i agree, placing fish in a cramped box no matter what size small one or the larger ones is terrible method. apply coverage for the fry or get a tank divider. good luck!
