No, I think they deserve a thread of their own, how many more Westie, Cairn or any terriers owners are their (not biased BTW have owned Boxer, Doberman, Collie and mutts before, oh and a cat, hamsters,guinea pigs, rabbits) :*

That was from back in '05, Ozzy had just turned 14. I'd have to go look through pictures & scan one in for my Westie, that was before home computers were a common item.
 
Oh he looks georgeous! I love terriers, you should get some pics of your westie on here, i would love to see them!

We used to have a cairn. Dopey thing. It ran out in front of our car, so we stopped, caught it to stop anyone actually hitting it, took it to a vet, wher theysorted out numerous skin conditions and parasites, we waited a while then claimed it as our own since no one else had. She was deaf, and blind in one eye, and the other eye was losing vision too. I won't say how we lost her coz it wasn't nice.
 
I have a Carin Called Pepper, Is Yours really aggressive? or is that just mine.
 
well got to admit my cairn couldnt be aggressive if his life depended on it!..lol. Hes soo soft, he likes to be fussed and he always has his ears down! He looks so sorry for himself!..lol
 
Hi, this is my Westie. She was called Penny and lived until she was 14. They can be quite feisty but she was a very benign dog and was lovely. Your Cairn and Westie look very nice. I would quite like a Cairn if I got another dog.I also like the look of the Russian Black Terrier but I prefer small dogs. :) She's in the car in this pic.

What a bonny dog! I love westies and cairns, my westie is very ignorant at times!..lol He will only do what he wants to, when he wants to...They are both very soft(and very noisy when they want to be!) and very loving.Ive never seen a black russian terrier..i`ll have to check that one out!
 
Thanks. I was very upset when she died as you can imagine, she was very special. I took her to the vet's once and I picked her up as she dragged her feet when it was time to go in and as I did she slapped her one paw on my shoulder, the whole room went ahhh! I only heard of the Russian Black Terrier at last year's Crufts so I googled them. They are used by the Russian military so I imagine they could be quite feisty! I actually saw one when I was looking at a country church, the wardens came out and they had one with them. It looked very friendly but I didn't pat it just in case!
