Picked up these 2 little beauties today! It was hard making the decision on what type of Ram to get but the gold ones won in the end!!

And a new tank photo....am thinking of getting a blue background though to brighten it up

Lovely, saw some lovely butterfly gold rams this morning. should have bought them.

It was soooo hard to choose what to get but i wanted something brightly coloured.

They seem to be settling in well too :)

Very nice but rams like a temp between 28-30c which the guppies, plec, platys and mollies wont like.

2 tanks. One a standard community setup (Guppies, Neons etc) running at 25 degrees. Next one has Cardinals, Rummynose and Discus, German Blue Rams (Wild Caught) and is at 30 degrees. The Gold ones die after a month everytime in the 30c tank and always seem to be gasping for breath, yet they're fine in the other tank.

I know people argue about the GBR temperature, but the Golds I feel are fine at 25-27c. Tank Bred, Raised and most are at lower temperatures.

Thanks guys, i never would have bought them if i hadny done my research first. There is alot of conflicting information around but i trust my lfs :good:

They seem perfectly happy at the moment and have been swimming around with my mollies :fun:
