This one is DARN hard to take pics of!! :grr: I had to take out her decorations in order to get some decent shots. Grr... she either hides or swims too fast. Not a team player. :rolleyes: Anyways, here are a couple ok shots, let me know what you guys think. I'm kind of excited about her color, I really do think the fins are black. :)

ive never seen one with stripes looks like a zebra danio
 
She is beautiful...she looks kind of like my female except I think mine is less black and more blue but it is hard to tell because she is so young... Anyhow she is a gorgeous betta... :kewlpics:
 
wow very unique looking..are those stripes from her being stressed..or just a natural coloring? id like to see her when she is settled in more..good find. I only spotted females at my walmart once and thats where i got mine,my walmart is good with their bettas as well.
 
Very beautiful! :wub: I've never seen a "zebra" betta before, in fact I've never seen female betta for more than 3 times around my lfs before!
 
I'm not yet sure if the stripes will become less obvious after she is with me for longer, we'll see. I'll let you all know. :) I have had her for a few days now though, and she still looks the same and seems happy too... so hopefully she'll stay so unique looking!! :wub:

At LFS in england those are the only type of females we can get. the stripes should go away and become vertical when shes interested in a male. They are there most of the time though. female Bettas can colour change like chamelons its amazing. Her fins will probably alos get a blue sheen to them, it looks so cool :)
 
She's Pretty.

Yep those stripes will go away eventually.

As DrOizo says, Wait till she atrats changing colors like a chameleon, it is really cool to watch.
