Juwel Rio 240, stripped out the filter and transferred the trusty Eheim's from the old tank.
Just have to finish the planting now.....

Are they western rainbows? I wish I had a bigger tank so I could go down to the river and get some rainbows for myself They are so pretty

They were sold to me as Dwarf Neons, but I think they are Westerns (Melanotaenia splendida australis).

It's hard to tell what kind of shrimp it is, any chance of snapping a pic while he's out in the open? How is he? Nice or evil?

Hard to get a good pic as he very rarely comes out during the day.

Friendly and very funny when the lights go out. Waits about 5 minutes and then flys up and down the tank for a good hour !
