Gold Pleco? Id?

now I dont have a pic but this guy was lovely he was about 15-20cm long, a sandy yellow colour with black spots..

not much to go on but any ideas?

i have one for sale at the mo which is a sandy colour, i believe he is an albino plec

was he like this??

noo he wasnt =[ he was much more yellow with quite big black spots

Ive done some looking around and it may be a paa pleco? L075? how likely is that? any care basics? price range?

Quite likely hun, there seems to be quite a few flying around the hobby at the moment. Stunning plecs, will eat most things so a nice varied diet of meatier stuff mixed with veg, usually max out around 8-10 inches but can get bigger and prefer a moderately cool tank, i think mid 70's is ideal if i remember correctly?.

Price range is a difficult one, all depends on what your willing to pay and what YOU personally think it's worth. Locally around £30-£35 i would say is average, full grown will probably be a little more but for me a price in the region of £30-£40 sounds quite fair if indeed it is a para.

Does it look anything like these?
