What do you feed the fish.
What does it look like when she goes to the toilet.
Can she maintain balance in the water. She seems too in the video.
Is her anus enlarged, or red and inflamed.

Feed some shelled peas.

no she seems fine, i am feeding flakes once a day, i have cut down from twice a day as reccomended by my pet store and am feeding bloodworm occassionaly.

You need to improve the fish diet with some frozen foods like daphnia and brime shrimp.
Also introduce some green veg into there diet like, peas, broc, cabbage, sproats, spinach.

Cook some frozen peas and shell them.

Cook frozen peas for a few minutes. Let cool down and pop out of shell.
Chop into tiny pieces and add to the tank.
Remove uneaten peas.

ok thanks i will try that, so do u think she is pregnant or just overweight? she has no trouble going to the toilet lol!

She dosn't look bloated, just fat or pregnant to me.

still no babies nearly a week on, here are some more pics taken today,
she is currently behaving differently too, hiding herself away and not moving around very much, im thinking if she is pregnant she may be close to having the fry.

any oppinions on wether this is pregnancy or something else from the new pictures would be greatly appreciated as i am getting worried, thanks

I would say from those pic's she's pregnant as her belly looks squared off, if this is the case and i'm seeing the pictures right you should have fry within a few days, make sure you've got plenty of fake plants, hiding places, bog wood etc if you don't have a breeding trap for the fry

Livebearers do hide away when there due to give birth.
Good Luck.
Let us know how she gets on, if you don't mind.

yeah i sure will, tank is well planted and has one cave and a boat for hiding i have one month old fry in there that are quite happy. i thought she was going to have them but this morning still no babies and she is back to her usual behaviour swimming around happily. i have a breeder cage but i am not going to use it as i really cant tell with her, ive had her in and out over the last two weeks but she doesnt like it in there and i think she is just going to suprise me! she shows all the signs of going to have them one minute and then is fine again next lol!

That's livebearers for you. LOL.

well still no babies, her back end has dropped further and is more in line with the front end, i think she must nearly be there, will keep you posted!

Bless her.
Keep us updated please.

well still no babies, my other mollies are pregnant now also and look as though they may have their fry soon.

what happens if she has aborted her fry? will she still give birth to them? I am finding it hard to believe that she still hasnt had them it must be about 8 weeks now

Ok.
If she aborted her waistline would be thinner.

Try some shelled peas.
Keep an eye out for when she goes to the toilet.

Make sure her scales are not sticking out.
Is her anus enlarged or red and inflamed.
