Well, I showed you all the "pretty" bettas I have in an earlier post, because some of my other guys had been sick. Anyways, two of them have recovered and are now presentable, though not gorgeous yet. :p

First of all, let me show you Huckleberry Fin. :D He became very sick for awhile, so I upgraded his tank and treated him with some things - his fins were badly, badly clumped.. didn't even remember how pretty they were. Anyways, here is a before picture. Notice how his anal fin and tail look all stuck together? It isn't just how he's swimming, they were like that all the time. :X

Now, here is he now. His fins have spread back out and look 100% better in that way - they're a bit ripped up, but are healing nicely. He loves his new tank too. MUCH more active!! Scuze pic quality, he's hard to photo - I can't use flash or he comes out all green, pretty, but not his real coloring. :p

Here's one more shot of him, I had to throw it in even though it's crappy, because it shows the other way he looks. He has two types of colors - one is sort of "flat", and one is very shiny like this one. One's green, one's blue. It's very cool.

Onto the next feller... Montoya!! He's had some major fin issues, since I got him. I battled fin rot with him for a long time, and then most recently, velvet. -_- He's all better now though, and his fins are finally growing again. They have grown about double the length since I got him... he was a bit of a rescue, but also because I've never seen one with coloring like his, and couldn't leave him. He's pink, red, blue, and purple. Such a girly betta! (but don't tell him that... )

And I have to show you guys this shot because he was in process of jumping out of the water to attack the light. He always does it, but I've never caught it in a photo. Look at it - his head is literally out of the water!!!

He has a name now, so I gotta show it off .. since I think it's so fitting. Aww..

Edit: See his butterfly pattern that is comin? It's not very obvious in these pics, but is showing up in his unpaired fins - darker gold with a light, almost clear band. Purty, I think!
