A Good Day At The Bla Auction

Well it was a good day at the BLA Auction some very nice guppy’s on show/ plenty of fish for sale in the auction I came away with some old favourites some of witch I have not kept for almost 20 years.

Yes it was a good day, how ever i did not meet anyone from here other than your self and ricefish.

It sounds like it was a very good day at the auction Fish48. Those are some nice pickups. I went to a local auction last weekend myself and picked up a bag of juvenile X montezumae and a large number of Girardinus metallicus, AKA black chins, juveniles. I had never seen a live black chin before and now I have about 20 juveniles to raise and learn about. I am almost certain to get at least one of each sex of those but am less optimistic about the small number of monties that I have. An all male or all female group is about a 25% chance with such a small number to start with.

oldman You Won't be disappointed with the black chins they are a very pretty & peaceful fish. And are well worth the time and effort keeping them. Good luck with your monties lets hope you get a pair from them.
