Why don't you whack some hot water in it from a kettle ?

that made me lolz
why did it make you lolz ?

made me laugh as well probably as it would take 500 kettles to make a difference to the water

it wouldn't take a huge amount to raise it up by 5 degrees but ican see your point, to be honest i didn;'t think it through lol

You'd need hundreds of kettle boils to get it any near the 5 degree shift, so It's not a very cost effective way, and is there really the need to keep quoting each other? when the post you're adding is directly under the one you're replying to.

yeah i agree

also looks awsome and maybe the goldfish wont be eaten as they could be packing heat

right i had to put my pair of scobina in the new tank as the p14s were beating crap out of the male scobina

I'm hoping with all the extra space the scobina and p14 will be able to keep out of each others way

the new tank should have a good amount of good bacteria as i emptied my 2 big pond buckets into the sump this after noon

Yeah and while your writing 2 or 3 more posts are done so it ends up not benath it......

GRUMPY

it only took less than 36 hours to heat up from tap water temp to 82 so no big deal i was in no rush plenty of other things to be getting on with

and the kettle was in use making tea

are they goldfish ?

if so how you gonna get them out or are yougonna let the fish eat them ?

what do you think my fish will eat them

dam the guy in my LFS he said they would be fine with my 28 inch aro

Is there a QOTD section - I think this should be in there XD

Fantastic tank :good: - I suppose you cant do a huge amount of scaping with the rays

now I have something to aim for! :D I dont know much about rays...research time! :shout:

right i have the pair of scobina rays and my 4 giant gold tinfoil barbs in

its mad how big fish are when out of the water

i knew the tinfoils were big but not 10inch +

i tested all the water parameters and they are all fine but its taking ages for the tank to clear

will get pics when it has cleared a bit

You could just attack a hose to a hot water tank from your kitchen or smthin ? would be allot faster than kettles xD

Why dont you attach a hose to a hot tap, thats what i did in my 90 litre but its kinda on a different scale here xD would be alot faster than kettles anyways lol.
