My new 4ft, Im undecided whether to get backing or not, would welcome opinions, suggestions.

Looks nice.. Personally I like a black backing, as it will bring out the colour/contrast of the plants and fish to a greater extent.

Cheers,
Squid

Thanks, I'm still experimenting with the camera for a sharper shot. As I have mainly fish with blue / silver colouration, I think plain black may be the way to go. I'm not into anything with a design printed on it. Also I'm needing to add extra light at the ends of the tank.

i second it, Go to black BG or transparent black (if you can get it).

I've taken some more piccy's will try tomorrow to download. Been trawling the net for a suitable backing, not been very successful though.

Black backing will suit your tank a lot and really bring out the colour in them plants, it will aloso disguise your internal filter... and will bring out the colours in your fish loads as well.

i like the broad leafed plants
