Hi everybody I have a question about food. the thing is that at my LFS they have some regular food and another one with vitamins so I was wondering if the food that has vitamins do they really help the fish of the just paint the food and charge extra money on that one.

They are not pellets not even flakes they are called “churros” I don’t know the translation for that in English I can take a picture later so you can now what I’m taking about.

Thanks for the help

Hi there,
I would say that yes ones with vitamins in do help. With my 2 goldfish, I used to use just pet shops own makes or just king british flakes because i didn't think it mattered but a few months back i bought some tetra flakes for £3.99 and they make the hell of a difference! Since feeding the fish these, its inhanced their colours and their looking alot happier and healther, i've seen a big change for the good.
See if you can get a piture. Also have a look an ebay, for 'Tetra Flakes' Their very good.
Only feed a small pinch of whatever you get, onyl feed once a day even when the packet says three times! Don't want to pollute the water.
Pic would help :)
Btw, what sort of fish have you got?
