Aww gosh.. and they actually look like mini bettas now!! Gosh, adorable.

They look like your pair when you got them - more of that peachy color. I can't wait to see them in a few more months when they're that lovely deep orange. :thumbs:

Edit: WHOA. You're not kidding about the size difference - it looks like a full grown betta on the right being compared to a neon! They certainly start growing super fast when they get on that bbs and then frozen food, huh?

I know,julie....they remind me so much of their parents with the peach. I'm hoping the older two will brighten up quickly since I've got them on Hikari frozen foods now (sheesh,that was hard!)

Here's a terrible pic, they're hard to snap shots of because they come out as bright glares, they're so shimmery and beautiful :wub:

but mean as hell, even the little ones fight pretty rough now :crazy:

those are sharp there, I havent seen the orange Bettas before let alone see fry of orange ones, I have enjoyed the posts, keep them up.

Only two from the first successful spawn, they were hatched and raised by me, dad was a quitter

1 month old spawn was taken care of by the father, but he ate quite a few, by the time they became free swimming I had about 75, still do
