I dont know if these were from the origional set or new ones since the first female has done a spawn, the tank has gone silly.
There is one female twirling about at noe side of the tank, with another doing the same. The males must be worn out!
Any how, i know that the eggs were supposed to be sticky, but i must have lost a load trying to move them, it was astough they had been glued there!
So i did the next best thing and cut the whole leaf off the plant, (well it'll grow back eventually) which had some eggs on.
I carefully put in a clear plastic tub attached to the sides of the tank with suckers (thanks Strontium Dog) and placed a airstone in. It is slightly above the water, so the othersa cant get too them.
Once again the pics arnt brilliant, but im trying my best!
1st pic is a view through the side of the tank looking at the leaf, in the centre there is a load of eggs all bunched up.

2nd pic is a view from the top looking at the leaf. it looks like there is a lot of white eggs, but thats the reflection off the tank lights. When i look closeley, i can see some black dots, are these there eyes or bellies?

Hi bingy_bong :)

When the corys first deposit their eggs they are very soft, usually too soft to handle. Within the first few hours they go through a stage of firming up but being sticky enough to move by rolling them onto your finger and then rolling them off to another surface. If they are firm enough to lose their adhesiveness it's usually an indication that they have been there too long. Moving them is a little trick that you will get better at as you get experienced and feel more sure about what you're doing. Cutting off the leaf was a good solution to the problem.

Good luck with this batch. :D

Oooo congrats!! :good:

We'll keep all crossed for all our eggs to hatch :)

Good luck :good:

Congratulations! I hope they all hatch for you, cant wait to see piccies of your cute cory babies.

Hi karigupi, hi all, :good:
Here is a photo of some of the fry, 3 hours old!
Yes i have been watching keenly, watching, reading up and trying to know what to do and plan ahead. :good:
I counted about 30 eggs on the leaf, but yet only 13 have hatched out.
I will keep you posted and update best i can.
One thing i do need to do is update my camera skills
