Help me decide what to do with my 10 gal

I'm planning on taking my tetras back and getting something else not sure what yet. I also want to decorate the tank better. So I need ideas on decorations and fish :p Heres some pics of what it looks like now. My first plan is to get one of those blue backgrounds for it cuz I don't like being able to see whats behind it :/

1) lose the no fishing sighn
2) maybe tone down gravel colour?
3) few more plants
4) nice either black or dark blue/light blue background
5) lose the plants with flowers get nice green ones :)

I don't take offense :) I was planning on getting the background. After seeing lots of aquarium pictures here I'd like to go for a more natural look. I want some real plants but the problem is lighting. The hood only has room for the one light thats currently on it and I'm not sure the wattage on the light but I can't imagine its too great cuz it came from wal mart :p
 
:D If you want the natural look I suggest getting rid of the bright pink plant
