Aquastart 320 Vs Arcadia Arc (20 Litre)?

The arcadia looks alot more stylish, but the aquastart is more practical. Personally I would go with the arcadia, but maybe go for the 35l version.

i will probably only be going for the 20 litre one. the aquastart is on offer for 40quid at the min in a garden shop near me thats all

I prefer the arcadia, i have a betta in one & i think it looks much better than my other 20 litre tank which has a solid lid. I have 6 tanks now & the arc gives the 'effect' of taking up less space due to it being all glass.

the light doesnt look as though it lights up the whole tank? is that just the photo?

its just the photo is rubbish!! have to use my webcam.
The light does light all the tank, i have live plants in there & they all thriving.

Your arcadia looks lush Luke emma, Id go with that, seen them in the flesh and they are gorgeous.

Both those tanks come up on eBay quite regularly in my area, much cheaper than new :)

think im going to go for the aquastart 320 as it only £40 on offer at the minute is that a good price? any body with one of these got anything to say about them or any pics of theirs? was debating whether to replace the undegravel filter with a sponge filter, is this wise?

i used a 320 for 2 males divided and didnt bother with the undergravel filter and jsut fitted a interpet mini

that pic was taken when it was first set up

I would personally replace undergravel filter, you will have a much easier time with an internal and if medicines ever have to be added, you can add carbon to the filter itself to clean water of medicine once course fininshed, an undergravel also need deep gravel.
