Hi can someone give me their best guestimate on when these Endlers might drop. I have read all the posts on estimating drops, but still always manage to trap the wrong fish!!

Anyways any opinions would be much appreciated, and I hope the pic quality is good enough.

The two that have not yet given birth are well along and are not endlers but are perhaps endler / guppy hybrids. The colored tails are a dead giveaway.

ture elders give birth every 28 days or so, the only way to keep track is to know when they last dropped and keep count

Actually D Dot, endlers average about 23 days, guppies average about 28 days and are often crossed with endlers to form hybrids that nobody tells you are hybrids. I find it as dishonest as calling a pet shop molly a sphenops or mexicana. A pet shop molly may be beautiful, just like a hybrid endler can be, but it is not a pure anything species. It is a highly developed and intentionally bred hybrid that looks spectacular but please don't call it what it is not.

Hi old man
None of the fish in the pics actually have coloured tails. They are all totally transparent. However I still think you are right about them being guppy crosses, due to their size, although I was told by the breeder before I collected them that they were true endlers!!

I am at the moment waiting for a delivery of 4 trios of supposedely true endlers from wholesale tropical. However I'm not totaly confident that that is what I will get as they same as rare as rocking horse poop!!!!
