Why am I browsing a fish forum at 2am?
It's hard to tell from your pic but most females don't get full of eggs until they see a male.
A sure way to tell a female from a male is if she has a little white dot between her pelvic fins. Then you know it's definatly not a boy.
And if it is a boy I don't think it's a plakat, just a short finned male.
