HEY

I have this 15 litres (4 gallons) with a 15W light (non-florescent) tank and i was wondering what ''carpet-effect'' plant can i grow with this. i want it to cover all my tank. I have a underwater filter. can this damage my ''carpet-effect'' plant?......

if you could tell me what other plants can i grow with this light and if the light been non-florescent changes anything......

Thanks :D

If it's non-flourescent, what type of bulb do you have? This is more important right now than your WPG. Plants do not grow well with incadescent bulbs.

Yes, this is an incadescent bulb. Not very good for plants because it gives off a lot of heat. You might be able to find a compact fluorescent that can screw into the socket, but it might be a challenge. I tried to search on the internet for a table that would give you an idea what CF to look for that would match the screw in your incadescent bulb, but I wasn't successful. You might want to take the bulb and shop around at hardware stores and places like that. If not, you might want to upgrade you lighting to a fluorescent fixture.
