What's up with my white betta?!?!

This is the solid white betta I found awhile back...Since I got him he has turned red on the anal and dorsal fins...I change his water every 3 days,he gets fed every other day and he is the most active betta I have,constantly flaring and making bubble nests. What is making him turn that red color?? :(

Maybe it's actually his true color? Perhaps all of the clean water and good food has enhanced him a bit :huh: He's lovely either way :wub:
 
I hope so. He isn't sick or anything...Maybe he was just pale from stress when I bought him. That scared me,I had to ask. Thanks for replying. :)

Now I have an excuse to find a solid white betta again... :hey:
 
its probably just the red wash.. my opaque has it.. sometimes its more visible than other times
 
Ahem. Are we not only supposed to complain when our fish lose color? -_- (j/k) :lol:

I think he looks very very pretty.....I mean white is cool....but white with red? Can you get any better??? :hyper: hee hee. Time for bed for moi! Bon soir!
