marine is harder than tropical, but not much. There is more water testing to do and you have to add salt to the water. RO water if you want a reef.

First research what you want to keep. then we can help you make up an equipment list.

whats better reef or marine?

they are both the same thing.

There is a few ways you can run a salt water tank.

Fish Only - pretty much the same as tropical, cycled filter etc. With just fish.

Fish only with Live Rock - Live rock forms the filteration for the tank.

Reef tank - live rock, fish and corals

well i no i want clown fish in a live rock and i want corals in

Exciting!! Another reef!! Reefs are little bit more expensive b/c you need better lighting (most common corals are photosynthetic) and you need to watch your water parameters more closely (calcium, alkalinity, magnesium) as the corals need those to thrive.

It's a fun adventure and there's always something to learn.

First decide if you want a sump or not. You're tank looks sumpless so if you go w/out a sump keep it. If you want a sump, sell it and get reef ready. I suggest you spend a good while reading on here before asking more questions. Reading will clear a LOT of things up and what it may not clear up for you, ask :)

I think you should learn about fish a LOT more and sort out looking after the fish you have before you start thinking about marine.

Because we don't know the hole story. Look at his topics. He's had some trouble choosing the right fish for his and not understanding cycling and stuff. Nothing research won't help though. He needs to learn more about fishkeeping in general. Impulse purchases can really hurt marine tanks (vs freshwater).

There is loads of help out there.
Research Research Research!
Good luck mate.

If you're ready then give it ago :good: First is read everything you can for awhile. I read for months and months before I even attempted to set up my tank.

Ask questions if you can't clarify things from reading. (also helps avoid all those common repeat questions over and over again)

thanks people i ll start reading i dno if i should keep my tank havent a clue what to do

if you have the money and time and patience and do your research very well then you should consider marine.

In essence marine isn't that much harder than tropical; it requires more dedication and research.
