I keep a male Betta in my 45 gallon endler tank. Mine are as close as you will get to original. They are from a collection in 2000 that was made from the original location in South America. The species maintenance program was set up at the fish farm run by Tampsfishman1 and I got some of his wild type stock as my original stock. They are ranked as a wild type class N but that is a designation that seems to be falling by the wayside now that Swampriver is producing so many line bred fish derived from class N parents and calling them all class N.
