yes i would say so sorry.....I would take them back to the shop and DEMAND a refund, telling them you wan't to speak with the manager and are not happy that the staff at the shop are lying to sell fish....if that doe's not work. Raise your voice.....if still nothing this will make you feel better

lol when i saw them i actually thought hold on arent these the big species.

but the guy in the shop was adament that they grow to max 20 cm.

so i will go back and try n find that same guy if not i will donate to fish shop.
3 for £12 i think is how they get them sold as they look so cool. would be gutted to let them go.

such a shame mate, demand a change of fish telling them you have reasearched them and they grow big, i have seen monster size's when i was in colombia for sale in a fish shop, try you tubing it, there's load's of video's about them i think :good:

are they definately the big Pangs? thres a catfish called Debauwi cat is it those cos they don;t get huge?

They aren't Debauwi cats (I have some), but the angle of the pic makes it a little difficult to say 100% they are Pangasius.

They probably are though IMO, any more pics?

no i think not Debauwi catfish if you can find them are great :good:
