would a male betta go with this stocking:
have atm:
3 corys
5 glowlight tetras

hopefull stocking:
6 corys
10 glowlight tetras
1 male betta
cherry shrimp and maybe amanos aswell

its a 60L tank
just wandering if the betta can go with these?

help would be great:D

it depends on the fish some are calm and will live with anythink but others will attack anythink yo put them with
and watch out the tetras dont nip him
 
yh it sounds fine thenor why dont you get a shoal of female bettas and some corys or shrimps
 
because my tank was setup as a general community tank and i went through all the trouble of getting rid of all the fish, buying all brand new plants, a new filter on the way, and have already bought 5 glowlights and 3 corys( was six but ich has killed 3 :crazy: ) so it means i will have to get rid of the glowlights and my mum wont have it. so i will try with a male but if does not work out i will get rid of male and glowlights and have a female setup.
 
my mums the same shes like just stick with what you have and im like but if i get ride of this i can get this lol
i think glowlight are better than neons for nipping i have a breeding pair in with some guppies and they dont nip at all
 
ye well i also think that neons are too common and i just decided that glowlights are different and kool soo... did you say that your glowlight nip more or nip less than the neons. n did you say you have a breeding pair of glowlights?
 
they nip less because i use to have them in with a female betta and they where fin but before that i had neons and thy nipped her
and yh i have a breeing pair but all of there eggs get eaten
 
oh right i get ya now. well im glad to see that yor glowlights dont bite. what type of betta do you think is the best to get? as in what type tail?
